Good Jobs Hawai'i *Full course funding available!*
Hawaiʻi Island residents are invited to apply for funding to support their enrollment in healthcare certificate programs offered in partnership with IslandCPR and Hawaiʻi Community College. Funding from the Good Jobs Hawai‘i initiative can support associated costs including tuition and fees for eligible students pursuing a certificate.

Hawaii Community Caregiver Network (HCCN) - $1,075.00 for Residents of West Hawaii
Program: A Memorial Scholarship in honor of Mary Heubner.
Requirements: Complete application (can be obtained from IslandCPR or https://www.hawaiicaregivers.org/cna-scholarships)
Application to include:
1) Completed application form
2) Essay 300-500 words describing why you want to train to be a CNA. Include any experience caring for any family members or friends.
3) Any other documents that the applicant wants to include such as but not limited to achievements, awards, letters of recommendation, etc.
To Apply: Contact IslandCPR or go on the website above to procure the application. Complete all parts and email to [email protected] at least 3 weeks prior to start of course.
O.H.A – Career Pathways Program – Tuition Support Varies According To Need
Program: Tuition support from Goodwill Hawaii and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs Career Pathways Program.
Requirements: Native Hawaiians whose household incomes are 300% or below the federal poverty level.
To Apply: Complete an IslandCPR student contract with Deposit or Financial Approval, then contact Riley Theobald, Employment Counselor at 808-443-5849 or [email protected].
Hana Lima Scholarship Program (HLSP) Alu Like – Scholarship Amount Varies According To Need
Program: Full or Part Scholarship from Alu Like.
Requirements: Hawaiian or Native American Descent, interview and application
