**NEW IslandCPR has just launched a self-paced Phlebotomy course where you only will have 2 labs required in Kona and final**
Like our other self paced courses you will have 3 months to complete your course once you start. Lab one is required after your first module is complete, with lab two at the end of the 4th module. Final to be completed after all chapters (5th module).
-other labs available to do more live sticks but not required.

$1395 (plus tax) includes class and textbook
$350 (plus tax) Class, textbook, and CPT (national exam from NHA)*
*To qualify for the CPT national exam students must successfully pass IslandCPR Phlebotomy course and final exam, plus obtain 30 live sticks and 10 capillary sticks.

Class Prerequisites
IslandCPR highly recommends having completed either a Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Nurse Aide (CNA) course prior to taking the Phlebotomy Technician course to have a basic background in medical knowledge before taking a CPT course.
Background in medical work or training also fulfills this requirement.
If you do not have a background in medical training, have not taken a CCMA or CNA class we suggest you START with these courses than take a Phlebotomy course which is specialized training.

Prior to class:
Students must have a Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from AHA card or obtain certification during the course.
High school Diploma or equivalent
