Learn to assess, treat, and stabilize patients using limited resources and improvise solutions for a variety of injuries and illnesses. You'll learn advanced first aid techniques, improvisation strategies, and decision-making skills to confidently manage medical incidents until evacuation or rescue is possible.

Class Details

Wilderness + Remote First Aid (WRFA)

  • Prerequisites:

    • 14 years old at the start of class

    • CPR/AED certification (can add on to the class)

  • Session Length: 16 Hours (Two 8-Hour Days)

  • Format: In Person

  • Price: $305.00 + GET

    • With CPR/AED: $355 + GET

  • First Aid kits

  • Parimary Assessment

  • Calling for Help Evacuation

  • Shock and Heart Attack

  • Chest Injuries

  • Head, Neck and Spinal Injuries

  • Wounds and Wound Infection

  • Bone and Joint Injuries

  • Burns

  • Abdominal Illnesses

  • Hypothermia

  • Heat-Related Illnesses

  • Lightning 

  • Altitude Illnesses

  • Submersion Incidents

  • Allergies and Anaphylaxis
