What will your child learn? Parent and Child Aquatics Recommended for Ages 6 month – 3 years. Purpose You will be in the water with your child, and with the instructors’ assistance teach your child to be comfortable in the water without flotation. Max 3 Parent/Child sets in the pool at any time with sets socially distanced during training Cost $13.00 Per class with once or twice a week options booked by the month. Preschool Aquatics Levels 1-3 Recommended Ages 3-5 Purpose To teach developmentally appropriate aquatic skills and fundamental water safety to your child, while helping them learn to enjoy and be safe in and around water. Cost $20.00 Per class with once or twice a week options booked by the month. Max 2 children in the pool at a time with children socially distanced Learn To swim Levels 1-6 Recommended for 5 to 12 Year old Purpose Your child will learn the basics of blowing bubbles to Rotary Breathing, back stroke, front crawl, elementary backstroke, breaststroke, side stroke and butterfly as the move through the levels. Coach Alina comes to IslandCPR from the University of Hawaii where she was teaching swim lessons with large groups of children of all ages. Alina has also taught surfing on the north shore and has a passion for the water and keeping kids safe! |
Classes booked by the month! Open Classes Parent/Child: $13.00 + Tax per class for the month.* Open Classes all other levels: $20.00+ Tax per class for the month* Private Classes: $40 + tax per 30 minute session.* Classes are 30 min (20 min for parent/child) We are now enrolling in Afternoon classes Monday - Thursday between 3pm - 5pm Daytime classes Tuesday, Thursday or Friday options between 10am - 1pm Ready to sign up? Lead Coach: Kara Osada-D'Avella
Coach Kara is a Water Safety Instructor Trainer (WSIT) with the American Red Cross. Kara is also a Red Cross Lifeguard instructor, NAUI instructor, PADI Assistant Instructor, American Heart Association Instructor with decades of water experience. Kara started teaching swim classes to get her son, Wyatt, now 8 swimming! Coach Kyle Fulk
Coach Kyle swam high school swim team as well as working as an assistant coach for swim team in California. Kyle come to Hawaii after working as a lifeguard in California now working in water safety. Kyle is excited to share his knowledge and passion for swimming to Hawaii's youth. |
